Basketball

Yesterday at 3:30 I received a call from Rob stating we have lower level tickets to the game tonight, we're going. My initial reaction was a) I woke up at 5am not sure that's going to happen for a 9pm game, b) I have prior volunteer commitments 6:30-8, then c) well this is part of why we chose to live here in residency, let's go!

So, I backed out of my meeting (and will attend next week instead), rushed home from a late day at work, made dinner & threw on some Carolina blue and we trekked in the cold to the game.

I realized it is the first game we have been to together since college! UNC basketball was the first time we met, it was something we enjoyed going to together, and it continues to be something we watch (from home) together. It was a fun, yet late, date night - and lower level seats didn't hurt :)

I know we have tickets to the NC State game in March, but here's to hoping more of these tickets appear this year! Go Heels!
